Underwater Cameras
Salt pose a significant threat to the integrity of underwater cameras and camera
housings. Salt crystals, like sand can stick to o-rings and will easily compromise the sealing ability
of an o-ring.
Being able to chemically dissolve any residual salt will significantly reduce the chance of a seal failing. It
will also minimise the chance of salt being transferred to the housed camera from handling.
SX50 is the perfect solution for removing residual salt from underwater camera gear. Add to your wash rinse
or use as a spray to protect housings and equipment from corrosion. This will get rid of all the residual salt that
can get into seals, stick to the outside and can get onto your hands when unloading your camera from the
housing.
Keep a spray bottle of SALT-X SX50 solution handy to spray your camera gear between
dives, particularly if you have to open an underwater housing to change media.
