Auto-Mix Injector
The Salt-X Auto Mix Injector is the
easiest way to add SX50 concentrate to your cooling system flush.
The Auto-Mix Injector is installed onto the fresh water feed hose, then attached to your engine connection,
could be engine flush muffs or the direct powerhead connection as found on many modern
outboards.
For inboard motors installing a breech 'T' with an isolation valve between the sea cock and the salt water
pump is the simplest and most efficient way to inject SX50 into the cooling system. If you need assistance with

By adding SX50 into your engine flush you will:

Remove Salt from Your Cooling System

Leave a Protective Coating in your motors cooling jacket.

Prevent expensive corrosion repairs.

Prevent salt damages and jambed Thermostats
How to Use
- Install the Auto-Mix Injector into your fresh water flush hose, making sure water flow is in the direction
of the arrow.
- Start the water flow to the motor, start the motor and bring to running temperature. This allows the
thermostat/s to open and the system to work fully.
- With the motor running, unscrew and remove the clear bowl from the Auto-Mix Injector, dump the water and
add the recommended amount of SX50 for your motor. Refit the bowl containing the SX50 concentrate.
- Water will fill the bowl and the solution will run into your motor. Allow to flush for the pre-determined
time, then turn off the motor and water immediately.
- Make sure not to flush the SX50 out of the cooling system!

Note: The Auto-Mix Injector unit is supplied with the yellow male hose connector and
the black hose barb connector only. (See top photo) It does not come with hose or additional
connectors. |
